What is My Account?

Through your account you can easily view and update your account and orders any time. “My Account” allows you complete control over your transactions at Wasi.lk. You can:

  • Manage/edit all your personal data like billing and shipping addresses, phone numbers and email id’s.
  • Change your password

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed internally (and immediately). Wasi.lk will send a confirmation mail for your order, to the email address associated with your Wasi.lk order/account. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID (eg.#24oo) for your reference. This ID will be used for any inquiries regarding your order.

Can I buy more than one item at a time?

Yes. You can add many items to your shopping cart. Add the ‘quantity’ you want for each product and select “Add to cart” button on the product page, then select the “continue shopping” option rather than “Proceed to checkout”. Once you have selected and added all Items to the cart, proceed to checkout.

Is it possible to order a product that is ‘Out of Stock’?

We automatically disable the ability to order items once it’s marked as ‘Out of Stock’ on our website to avoid delays in processing and delivering products. But, you can send us an email at [email protected] or call us at 0117 799 274 to inquire about the product and we’ll get back to you with a suitable answer.

How do I pay for a wasi.lk purchase?

Wasi.lk offers you multiple payment methods.

  • You can pay online using all major credit cards and debit cards (Visa/MasterCard).
  • You can pay via any eZcash outlet Islandwide.
  • Pay cash upon delivery – Cash on delivery (COD)
  • You can pay via Direct Bank Deposit (HNB & Seylan Bank).
  • Finally, you can pay CASH at our office No.34, Flower Road, Colombo 7.

Is my payment totally secure?

Your payments will be totally secure. Your credit card, debit card information is transmitted by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) courtesy of VeriSign (the world’s best security certificate issuer) directly to a secure electronic vault with banks. We do not keep credit card information of our customers on our servers.

How do I pay using a credit card or debit card?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard credit & debit cards. We even accept international cards, but it takes a little bit of time to verify.

  • To pay using your credit card or debit card at checkout select Visa/MasterCard Payment, you will need your card number, card expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card), name on card, email address and phone number.

What is Cash on Delivery?

Customers can pay for the orders once it arrives at your door-step via cash payment. Cash On Delivery (COD) within Colombo 1 – 15 will be charged a flat rate of Rs.100/= for delivery. COD orders out-side of Colombo 1 – 15 will be charged a minimum of Rs.150/= or the regular delivery cost, which ever is greater. Delivery will be made within 2 business (working) days. Please note COD orders will not be delivered during weekends.

How do I pay via bank transfer?

You can deposit money to the following Wasi.lk bank account using the information provided and let us know through email or a phone call once you’re done. Then we can arrange your order to be delivered or you can come to our office No.34, Flower Road, Colombo 7, the following day to pick up the item.

How does paying cash at wasi.lk’s ‘sales office’ work?

Once you make the cash payment at our office, Wasi.lk will require 48 hours to have the order ready for delivery or pick up at our office.

(If the item comes with free shipping, we’ll deliver it to your address within 2 working days after the cash payment, or we can arrange to deliver the item at a fee depending on the weight of the item and your location. Finally, you can pickup the item at our ‘sales office’ the following day after the cash payment as mentioned.)

How can I check my order status?

  • You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending, processing or fulfilled, that you have placed with Wasi.lk. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the “Welcome, Your username” link in the top right of any page on our site. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the “My Orders” link to view the status of all orders.
  • If you are totally lost you can always contact us during working hours or email us anytime.

Is delivery free?

Delivery is free in many cases and will be identified within the item details. However some products have a delivery charge associated with them and the charge varies depending on the weight of the item and where it’s being delivered to. You can check it with our customer service before buying online.

When will I receive my product(s)?

Delivery time may vary depending on the product(s) you ordered. For orders that are placed before 2pm on any weekday, we will try our best to deliver them all the next day as a special service to all our valued customers.

However, our regular delivery for orders take between 2-5 working days. If you chose to pick up your order at our ‘sales office’, you will receive an email from our Customer Service department when your product is ready to be collected.

Delivery verification process?

We require customers to produce identification in the form of the National Identification Card (NIC) OR a Passport of whoever placed the original order at the time of delivery. If the person who placed the order is not present at the time of delivery, we require a National Identification Card or Passport number and signature of the person who accepts the order to hold responsible for the order delivery confirmation.

Can I send a product to someone other than myself?

Of course you can. Simply put the address of the person you want the gift sent to. Remember, all our order deliveries require identification in the form of the National Identification Card number (NIC) or Passport number of whoever places the order or whoever you send the gift to or receives it, for added security reasons. Therefore, it’s best to inform the person about the surprise in head of time.
