Grow your own beautiful crystals that will glow in the dark. It’s a fun and luminous chemistry experiment!

This kit includes ingredients for a luminous crystal growing experiment! Follow the included instructions to successfully watch a beautiful crystal grow right in front of your eyes! Then give them a healthy dose of bright light to charge them up and turn off the light to see the glowing properties of this phosphorescent infused crystal do its thing! Contents: 1 Large bags containing white crystal compound, 1 small bag containing glow powder, 1 crystal base, 1 transparent crystal stand, 1 container, 1 stirring spoon, Detailed instructions. Contents are sufficient to grow one crystal. The crystal will grow to a diameter of approximately 2 inches (5 cm) and a height of approximately 1.5 inches (4 cm). However the size and color will vary according to conditions during your experiment. Also needed for this glowing crystal experiment, but not included with this kit: Apron, Protective Safety Goggles, Rubber Gloves, A Jar of Steaming Hot Water. All “glow-in-the-dark” products contain phosphors and have to be “charged” in order to attain a good glow. A phosphor is a substance that radiates visible light after being energized. After being exposed to light, most items will glow for at least 10 minutes. You may need to be in nearly complete darkness to notice it. The brighter the light and the longer the exposure, the better and longer the item will glow Recommended for ages 10 and up Adult supervision is recommended.
